What Matters Is What You Do Next Life will test you. But do not let the test stop you. You will be hurt. You will be disappointed. You will make mistakes. You may even fall into sins you promised yourself you would not return to. The real question is not always what happened. It's: What will you do next? Do not spend days replaying someone's hurtful words. Do not let one mistake convince you that you are a failure. Do not let a sin make you run away from Allah. Turn back. Repent. Learn. Reset. Keep moving. Allah says: “Do not despair of the mercy of Allah.” — Qur’an 39:53 And the Prophet ﷺ said: “Be keen on what benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not give up.” — Sahih Muslim 2664 You cannot change what happened yesterday. But you can choose what you do today. Pause. Turn to Allah. Accept reality. Learn the lesson. Take the next step. Your energy is precious. Do not spend all of it fighting the past. Sometimes strength is not about never falling. It is about how quickly you return to Allah and get back up. May Allah give us sabr in hardship, tawbah after sin, wisdom after mistakes, and the strength to keep moving forward. Do not stay down. Allah's mercy is greater than your mistakes. Get back up. Keep going.

Don't Let Fear Stop You From Trying Sometimes, we have dreams and goals we deeply wish to achieve. Yet, we hesitate to take the first step. Not because we are incapable, but because we are afraid. Afraid of failure, rejection, pain, and uncertainty. But have you ever stopped to think: What if you simply tried? What if you focused on giving your best, taking one step at a time, and trusting Allah with the results? You might fail. You might face rejection. But perhaps the real loss is not failing after trying. Perhaps it is never trying at all because fear convinced you that you would fail. Allah ﷻ says: “And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely [upon Him].” Surah Aal-Imran 3:159 Tawakkul does not mean sitting back and waiting. It means taking the necessary steps, making sincere efforts, and trusting Allah with the outcome. The Prophet ﷺ said: “The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, while there is good in both. Strive for that which benefits you, seek help from Allah, and do not feel helpless.” Sahih Muslim 2664 So, pursue what is beneficial. Learn. Grow. Try again. Keep moving forward, even when the journey becomes difficult. Your responsibility is to make the effort. The results belong to Allah. If you face rejection, learn from it. If you fail, grow through it. If your plans do not work out, trust that Allah knows what you do not. Every sincere effort made for something good can be an opportunity to learn, grow, and draw closer to Allah. So, do not let fear keep you from trying. Take that first step. Make your effort. Put your trust in Allah. May Allah grant us the courage to pursue what is beneficial, the patience to persevere, and the wisdom to accept His decree. Ameen.
